About Libya Oil:
Libya Oil Egypt is a global subsidiary of Libya Oil Holding Group. It started its activities in Egypt in 1995 in the fuel supply sector. Although it is presently present in all parts of the African continent, Egypt was considered one of the first countries in which the Libya Oil Group started its business.
The company started its activities under the brand Tam Oil in 1995 and changed to the Libya Oil brand in 2004 through the merger of Libya Oil Holding Ltd. Libya Oil Egypt works in the marketing and distribution of petroleum products and their derivatives, through the ownership and management of service stations and the supply of cars. It is also involved in the ship supply, aviation and oil export sectors to African countries.
It also entered into a partnership with Total Egypt in 2012 to form a joint stock company, in which Libya Oil Egypt contributes 35% in storing and mixing oil products in Alexandria-Ospa.
OPSPA is a lubricant mixing plant with an annual production capacity of 40,000 m3 and a storage capacity of 8,000 m3 for the storage of base oils and additives.
