Misr Petroleum Company is one of the largest companies for marketing petroleum products in Egypt, which started in 1911 under the name Shell Egypt Limited and was Egyptianized in 1964. The company distributes its products through a large number of sales outlets (service and supply stations) distributed over all governorates of the Republic. These stations are periodically updated to face competition with the latest global technologies to keep pace with the tremendous development in this field, raise operating efficiency and improve the general appearance, which reflects customer satisfaction, their connection and their adherence to the company
The company markets the following products:
Main products: petrol of all kinds – solar of all kinds – kerosene – diesel – diesel – jet fuel, oils and greases of all kinds, in addition to all kinds of quality improvement products.
Special products: Solam – coloring – alkyl benzene – odorless kerosene – nafta sulfur – petrochemicals – heptane – bitumen of all kinds – paraffinic and solid wax
Chemicals: household, agricultural, and industrial products
Mineral oils and greases: all types of oils and greases for engines (gasoline and diesel).
The company owns a large number of main and subsidiary warehouses (distributed all over the country), which gives the company great flexibility in providing sales outlets and customers with sufficient quantities of petroleum products through proper geographical distribution and large storage capacity with the abundance of petroleum products all over Egypt.
External market:
Aircraft catering: The company provides aircraft catering service in most airports in the Republic, which covers the largest proportion of the total needs of the Egyptian market.
Ship supply: The company provides this service in all Egyptian ports to supply ships in transit and ships on the high seas through its fleet of tankers. The company also owns a research center to keep pace with the latest international methods used in determining quality and the modernization of standard specifications. The company owns Manar Misr Petroleum, which is a center for educational and training radiation and laboratories for living languages for all workers in the petroleum sector at the level of the Republic.
The company owns a complex for mixing oils and greases in Egypt and the Middle East, and the factory is built on an area of (100 thousand square meters) and produces one hundred and thirteen types of oils and eight types of specialized lithium greases with the latest technology and a high degree of modern technologies, where it is controlled automatically, which gives The ability to mix and fill for foreign and joint companies
An internal audit of the ISO 18001,14001 system was done for all areas subject to the system, and the issuance of ISO 14001/96 was also raised to 14001/2004, and by joining the state plan that encourages exports and opens new markets for Egyptian products, the company focused on exporting their products through the great efforts that were made. It is being made in order to implement export agreements for Arab and African countries and some European countries.
